Move-In Clean FAQ
- What is the difference between a move-in and a regular clean?A move-in clean is a thorough, once-off clean of an empty property before you move in. It goes deeper than a regular maintenance clean — inside cupboards, behind appliances, full sanitisation throughout. A regular clean maintains a lived-in home on an ongoing basis.
- When should I book relative to my move-in date?Book the clean for the day you receive the keys, or the day before the removalist arrives. An empty property is much faster and easier to clean properly than one mid-move.
- Do you need anyone to be there?No. As long as we can access the property, we can complete the clean independently. Arrange key access and we will let you know when we are done.
- Can I book a regular clean after the move-in clean?Yes and it is a popular combination. Many clients start with a move-in clean, then set up a fortnightly regular clean to keep the standard high. Ask when booking and we will arrange both.
